Four British FA’s submit 22 stadia, 16 city bid for Women’s World Cup 2035
November 28 – The four ‘home’ associations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have formally submitted their joint bid for the Women’s World Cup 2035 with a proposed 22 stadiums, 16 of them in England of which five are in London. The joint bid is the only bid for 2035. The 2027 World Cup will be held in Brazil, while the USA is the sole bidder for 2031 which will be the first of the expanded 48-team format. Read more …
